The work I am producing from steel rod is the most recent development in my practice. It is a form of three dimensional drawing. By placing the steel forms in close proximity I hope to produce a dynamic interplay of the steel lattice.

Originating as landscape forms, the works have been an evolving series which now quite consistently reference ocean environments.

Many of the pieces include fish in the collage and my intention is to bring the swirling underwater environments to the surface. Ironically, those resembling fishtraps simultaneously release their catch which has caused me to rename these artefacts 'fish nontraps'.
