Mullumbimby Sculpture Walk. Commissioned by Creative Mullumbimby Inc.

This is a gateway sculpture and entrance to the proposed Mullum Sculpture Walk. It marks the beginning of the walk both geographically and in time at the commencement of a project that will continue indefinitely.

A screen like installation that suggests suspended grace in nature, referring to the gravitational fall of a peacock's tail, also visible in any elongated tendrils or vines.

Frank Mills Historical Seat     I    2015     

Old steel and re-purposed railway sleepers.

Brunswick Heads NSW. Commissioned by Brunswick Heads Chamber of Commerce.

Frank Mills is a well known local historian and raconteur whose contribution to community was duly recognised in this piece. Frank is still living locally as he has done all his life. The steel for the seat was primarily produced from Frank's own collection of hardware from his bullock team harnesses and his timber cutting days.

Stainless steel and wood. Currently located at Gaia Retreat & Spa Brooklet NSW

This work was originally entered into Casuarina Sculpture Prize and being a seaside location I gave it an aquatic and sea faring theme. My experiences in sailing ocean crossings were somewhat reactivated in the production of this work.
